On April 24th 2024 the third progress meeting of the EARS project was held at Deimos headquarters in Tres Cantos, Madrid.

In this meeting the focus was on the Preliminary Design Review of the EARS spacecraft, which also provided preliminary estimates of its mass, power consumption and volume. In addition, the first results of the tests on the materials selected for the construction of the inflatable heat shield have been presented and discussed.
